What a Personal Year number is
Your Personal Year number is calculated by adding your birth month and birth day to the current calendar year, then reducing to a single digit. It describes the quality of the energetic cycle you are currently moving through — a nine-year cycle that every person completes repeatedly across their lifetime, each year carrying its own distinct frequency.
A Personal Year 1 is a year of beginnings — new directions, fresh starts, the initiation of things that will take years to complete. A Personal Year 9 is a year of endings, completion, and release. Each year between carries its own character.
To calculate your current Personal Year: Add your birth month number + birth day number + 2026, then reduce. Born March 15: 3 + 1 + 5 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 19 → 1 + 9 = Personal Year 1 in 2026.
Why this changes your fragrance
Your Life Path is your permanent frequency — the fundamental signature of who you are. But the Personal Year overlays a secondary quality that modulates that signature. In a Personal Year 1, even a Life Path 6 person (whose natural frequency is warmth and nurturing) is being called toward initiation and new beginnings.
